Center of Excellence in MCH

Welcome to Maternal and Child Health at the Rollins School of Public Health! MCH at Emory has a long and rich history. As a former MCH trainee at Emory, I was proud to take the leadership in summer 2018 from Dr. Carol Hogue, for the HRSA Maternal and Child Health Center of Excellence, and the associated MCH Certificate training program. The Center of Excellence is a partnership with Georgia State University GaLEND program and the Satcher Leadership Institute of Morehouse School of Medicine, and aims to expand the MCH workforce regionally and nationally, with emphasis on increasing MCH leaders from historically disadvantaged populations. The MCH Certificate program is a highly competitive, cross-departmental graduate concentration designed for preparing MPH students for the scientific, programmatic, and leadership challenges of MCH. On behalf of the many faculty and staff affiliated with the Center, I invite you to learn more about the opportunities for training, research, and community partnership available at Emory.
