FAQ

The application for Fall admissions is April 1st of each year. Applicants will be notified of the admission decision by April 15.
Certain years we have a second application cycle in Fall. An email will be sent out to all incoming students if we intend to admit more to the program.
There are lots of MCH-oriented courses across all departments that are open to any eligible students (e.g. conditional on pre-requisites, departmental requirements, etc). There are only 3 MCH certificate courses which are not open to non-Certificate students: MCH Foundations; MCH Leadership Seminar; and Program Management for Sexual and Reproductive Health Equity. All the rest of the curriculum is definitely open, and we have many students every year who choose to emphasize in MCH without being part of the formal certificate.
No, due to course sequencing, students can only complete the certificate when they begin their Master’s program.
There is not a separate process for the MCH Fellowship. If you meet the eligibility criteria and submit your application by the fellowship deadline (January 29), you will be considered for the fellowship.
