About the MCH Certificate

Students applying for a full-time MPH/MSPH program at Rollins are invited to apply for enrollment in the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Certificate Program. Certificates are optional specializations that students can add to their departmental focus. This is a rigorous and competitive certificate program intended for students who are committed to the development and promotion of the MCH field. Curriculum

To fulfill the requirements for the MCH Certificate students must take 3 core courses, a life-course elective and a management and policy elective. Additionally, their applied practical experience and culminating experience (e.g. capstone or thesis) must be MCH related. For a listing of courses and descriptions click here.

Eligibility

Requirement 1

Acceptance to a full-time MPH/MSPH degree program at RSPH. Accelerated program students not eligible.

How to apply

  1. Indicate your interest in the MCH Certificate on your SOPHAS application located on the program materials page under the questions tab.
  2. Once you submit your SOPHAS application, the supplemental application link will be emailed to you directly. Submit by April 1 for Fall admission into the program. Apply by January 29 to be considered for the MCH Fellowship.
